Chefs, Tony Cafarelli and Jamison Leigh, served up Porchetta with salsa verde and pickled red onion. Our chefs worked hard preparing and presenting their creation. They enjoyed the fun competition with other respected chefs in the community. The foodies came out to enjoy this amazing event hosted by Canandaigua Kiwanis. Our raspberry pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon and home fries made the perfect breakfast for the fundraiser. A special ‘thank you’ to Michele Chiaverini, Administrative Assistant, for putting together a lovely gift basket to raffle off and to resident, Joan Szabla for crocheting prayer shawls to hand out as favors. Light Hill Hospice provides loving, compassionate, specialized care for those who are terminally ill and for their families and loved ones. With a 2 bedroom house in Canandaigua their primary focus is to ensure the richest possible experience for residents and their loved ones as they approach the final stages of life. We were honored to host this event for such a worthy cause.
