Lynne Standish / Wednesday, May 11, 2022 / Categories: Ferris Hills Blog, Clark Meadows Blog Recognizing our Shining Star! Each year, Thompson Health has a "Shining Star" ceremony for those associates who have been nominated by their peers for exceptional work and abiding by the CARES values. Winners are chosen by a secret committee. A number of staff were on hand Tuesday, May 10th for this ceremony. One of our Nutrition associates, Laura Hillson was surprised and pleased to be honored with her shining star this year! "As the lead server and host in the Clark Meadows dining room, Laura is often the first person residents see in the morning, and she never fails to bring sunshine to their day. She takes the time to ask how they're doing, commits their likes and dislikes to memory, listens intently to their needs and promptly follows up if one has a special order or concern. She takes pride in training new associates and is a role model to all with her energy, her patience and her take-charge, effervescent personality. As one associate said, "CARES values? She has them all." Congratulations Laura and thank you! Previous Article And they're off! Next Article Sprucing up! Print 12422
