She even dressed for the occasion! With champaign in one hand and her laptop in the other she arrived in time to set up for the big event. For many years, Ferris Hills at West Lake has invited the community to a series of free concerts in its courtyard. With everyone's safety in mind, that can't happen this year, but it won't stop the music. This past Saturday, residents wearing masks and/or sitting 6 feet apart from those they don't live with celebrated the first official day of summer by enjoying some fantastic New Orleans-style jazz from a band called Dixieland.
