Artist, Benji Carr, Visits Clark Meadows Artist, Benji Carr, Visits Clark Meadows "The Ghost of Roseland" is coming to Canandaigua Lake! KristenMeyer / Tuesday, May 21, 2024 0 6875 Local artist, Benji Carr, was on site to show his latest project to our residents. The Ghost of Roseland sculpture is his latest commissioned piece. He brought the model to show us how it will look and explained that there will be moving parts. What a thrill for our staff and residents to get this up close and personal presentation of such an exciting project. The discussion brought out a lot of reminiscing about Roseland Park. So many of our residents grew up in Canandaigua and Rosleand Park was a big part of their youth. The art reflects the history of our town and the importance that the park played. Pat Rini Rohrer, gallery owner and Art Tuppen, Canandaigua local, were two of our enthusiastic audience participants. They are photographed here with the artist. Read more

Lynne Standish / Friday, September 18, 2020 / Categories: Clark Meadows Blog Going above and beyond during National Assisted Living Week! The final presentation during the National Assisted Living week was a "heartfelt" one on our heart day here at Clark Meadows. We had recognized staff, and our program manager, and now it was time to recognize eight of our residents for the help that they offer to us and other residents. Presented by Jody Wilbur.... " We have four men and 4 women who have gone above and beyond to help make our assisted living experience the best it can be. They've shown kindness, patience, and consideration for their neighbors and for the staff. These folks have helped with managing the book cart, creating some of our programming, acting as ambassadors, helped with happy hours by singing, smiling and encouraging. They help other residents by engaging them with fun conversation with jokes, laughter and singing. The list goes on and on. Your positivity and participation fulfill our lives and we thank you." Thank you Mary, Bev, Margaret, Jane, Sam, Al G., Joe and Al J.! Previous Article Senior community staff acknowledged on National Assisted Living Week Next Article Glass Painting Print 20098
