Meghan Gravino, MSW, joined Ferris Hills and Clark Meadows as Executive Director in 2023.

Meghan grew up in Seneca Falls and is a graduate of SUNY Brockport. She earned her master’s degree via the Greater Rochester Collaborative program offered jointly by Brockport and Nazareth University, with her advanced certificate in Gerontological social work. She is currently pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Long-Term Care through D’Youville University in Buffalo, with anticipated completion in March of 2024.

Meghan first joined our parent organization of UR Medicine Thompson Health nearly seven years ago, as a medical social worker in the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua. She primarily worked with residents – and families – dealing with a dementia diagnosis. In 2022, she became the Assistant Administrator of the 178-bed nursing home.

She and her husband Kyle live in Williamson with their two sons, Caleb and Carsen. In her free time, Meghan loves to be with family and spend time outdoors. Also a sucker for a great romantic comedy movie, she considers herself very much a people person and says, “I love to surround myself with others and have a good laugh.”

Anthony (Tony) Cafarelli was born in Rochester and graduated from Fairport High School. He studied Business/Marketing at Monroe Community College and – through the American Culinary Federation – became a Certified Sous Chef in 2003.

Tony’s love of food started at the age of 8. He would watch Julia Child on PBS on Saturday mornings while other kids watched cartoons. “I knew that cooking would be a part my life from that point,” he says. Tony has been a banquet chef, a corporate trainer for Applebee’s, and a private chef. He also opened a handful of restaurants for friends and consulted for them. In addition, he served as a culinary instructor for high school students through BOCES. “Having the students come into our kitchen as interns was one of the most rewarding part of my career. Chefs spent time to show me how to cook, and I wanted to give back to young aspiring chefs,” he said.

Tony spent half of his career as the sous chef at Woodcliff Hotel & Spa in Fairport, but when the pandemic came along, his path took him to Ferris Hills. He couldn’t be happier. “There is a great atmosphere happening here and cooking for the residents is totally rewarding!”
