Happy New Year!

Singer, Mike Burrell, entertained residents and staff at our New Year's Eve party as we celebrated the start of 2019.  After the residents finished their dinner of lobster and filet mignon there was barely room for the banana flambé and chocolate truffles, but a few found space.  Resident Services Manager, Claire Watson said,  "Another great party with amazing people, I am blessed to be a part of this family."

Happy Holidays 2018

Residents and staff love getting together over the holidays to celebrate the season and all that it brings.  Staff enjoy being off-duty and able to socialize with the residents at the annual party.  Great food and drinks whilst sharing a few laughs are what the holidays are all about!

Halloween

Halloween is always a fun time at the community.  Clark Meadows and Ferris Hills residents certainly get into the party spirit and are not afraid to dress up!

Prizes for the best costumes were awarded, cocktails were mixed and the food was spook-tacular.

"Reading is to the mind, like exercise is to the body."

A number of Ferris Hills residents have been working hard to reorganize their library. They are sorting through books, and donating those that haven't been checked out in many years. New books have arrived and are organized by fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc.  There is a special section for magazines, and also paperback books.

These worker bees noticed that some of the book shelves were in need of extra support.  All they had to do is call on the Ferris Hills woodshop for the remedy!  Measurements were taken and shelf support dividers were made to resolve the issue!  Thanks to a kind donation, we even have (5) Kindles available to rent!

Stop by soon and check out the many positive changes in the library.  Don't forget to thank the library ladies for their hard work!
