The spirit of the Irish was in the air at the annual Ferris Hills St. Patrick’s Day Social. It was also apparent in the party-goers green apparel and Irish-themed food, drink, and entertainment.

Scarf Party

Scarf Party

The residents of Ferris Hills and Clark Meadows had a lovely time on Saturday as they fondly remembered their good friend, Jean Lahr.  Many stories were shared of Jean all of which started with a smile and ended with a giggle.

Jean's love of scarves was just one of the many things she was known for and when she passed away her dear friend, Hope, asked Jean's daughters if it would be ok to keep a scarf to remember her by.  A whole box filled with beautiful scarves were given to Hope and it was decided that all of her friends should enjoy them.

A tea party was hosted as the ladies chose their scarf and wore it with love.
