A group of residents took off to the Blue Eagle Tavern in Branchport, NY for an afternoon of pub fare and an opportunity to see and remember this historic hot spot that has served generations of lake folk..

One of our residents, Gabe, is in the band!  Gabe and his wife, Deb, moved into Ferris Hill this year and they hit the ground running.  Both Deb and Gabe were already active volunteers in the community working tirelessly at the VA, Kiwanis, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and more.  Here, we are all enjoying the musical performane with lunch as an added treat.

For the win... Chefs, Tony Cafarelli and Jamison Leigh, served up Porchetta with salsa verde and pickled red onion.  Our chefs worked hard preparing and presenting their creation.  They enjoyed the fun competition with other respected chefs in the community.   The foodies came out to enjoy this amazing event hosted by Canandaigua Kiwanis.  Canandaigua Kiwanis is an active group of dedicated volunteers working tirelessly throughout the year raising money to support children.

Bach to Rock!

Finger Lakes Chamber Music Festival string quartet with Richard Auldon Clark and members of his Manhattan Chamber Orchestra delighted residents with a bit of everything.

Bach and Beethoven, Duke Ellington, Henry Mancini, the Beatles, folk, ragtime, jazz, dance rhythms, the best of Broadway, themes from films, even an old fashioned Hoedown.

Richard, artistic director of the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra bought an energy to the room which was mesmerizing.
