Geriactors come to Ferris Hills

The Geriactors are a traveling group of veteran actors and a pianist who did not want to give up what they love.  Since 2000 they have been traveling upstate New York and spreading joy to all who see them.

Ferris Hills residents enjoyed the fun and upbeat performance of the comedy "Park Bench", a lot does happen on a bench.  We will certainly welcome the group back soon as their energy and buzzing personalities brought a smile to all.

The Flower of Remembrance

Making artificial poppies is a long-standing tradition and today we all pitched in to help the local Veterans Affairs assemble poppies. Close to 400 poppies were assembled and we had a good time sharing stories and remembering our own experiences with the symbolic poppy.

On Monday in Rayburn Hall, Quintessence performed for Ferris Hills Residents.  Quintessence is a professional chamber music ensemble who frequently perform here.  A superb performance on a Monday afternoon!
